Exciting opportunity for a Senior Quant Analyst to join this global Energy company.

These innovations create opportunities for exceptionally talented individuals to contribute to the success of this evolution, working alongside some of the industry’s top professionals and leveraging the very latest technology.
Required Industry Knowledge:
• Understanding of all major global futures exchanges
• Knowledge of full exchange-traded derivatives trade lifecycle
• Minimum of 8 years’ experience in Commodity Trading & Capital Markets / Investment Banks to bring credible externalisation of mindset and approach and ensure we are cost: value competitive
• Knowledge of market data providers (Bloomberg, Refinitiv, etc.) and liquidity aggregation platforms.
• Understanding of financial regulations such as MiFID II, EMIR, and FCA guidelines.
Key Skills and Experience required:
• 10 years+ experience with Front Office application support and vendor management
• Rapid incident response to maintain continuous trading operations, turning quick fixes into robust, scalable solutions
• Proactive system monitoring and troubleshooting, owning reliability improvements and ensuring their successful delivery
• Understanding of trading lifecycle, including order capture & execution, allocation workflow, settlement, and compliance requirements
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyse complex data sets and propose innovative solutions.
• Must have strong technical skills in scripting, Python, PowerShell, C#, SQL or other programming languages
This needs combining with a positive attitude and an ability to work within a large, globally dispersed project team in a multi-cultural environment. You also need to be a self-starter, a logical thinker and a quick learner, with strong initiative and excellent communication, interpersonal and presentation skills, able to write clearly and concisely.
